海藻炭是天然的海藻類（昆布、海帶、馬尾藻等）經(jīng)過特殊窯燒成的灰燼物。海藻炭內(nèi)含鈉量少，含有豐富礦物質(zhì)，化學(xué)成份多，也含有一些藻鹽類成分。在抽出海藻炭內(nèi)的藻鹽類后，以特殊的制造程序?qū)⒑Ｔ逄繜珊谏谏暮Ｔ逄勘憔哂辛己玫倪h紅外線放射效果。
海藻炭纖維是將海藻炭的炭化物，經(jīng)過粉碎成為超微粒子后，再與聚酯溶液或尼龍溶液等混煉紡制予以抽絲、加工而成的纖維。這種纖維可以與天然棉或其它纖維混紡，紡成的紗線便具有遠紅外線放射機能。一般而言，只要使用15%～30%的海藻炭纖維就具有良好的遠紅外線放射效能，可以編織成具有遠紅外線放射機能的各種織物，應(yīng)用在襪子以及內(nèi)衣等產(chǎn)品上。
遠紅外線的效果
特殊技術(shù)燒成的海藻炭做成之海藻炭纖維素材，在35℃時遠紅外線放射率可高達90%以上，屬于高數(shù)值的遠紅外線放射率素材。遠紅外線放射可使細胞內(nèi)的分子運動活潑化產(chǎn)生共振，使身體內(nèi)部產(chǎn)生暖和的感覺。這種活動能給予細胞活力，細胞充滿生機。
